About Us

I started Green Mountain Paws in July 2024 to provide loving, dependable care for pets in Orleans County and parts of Caledonia County. What began as a small side gig quickly grew when I realized just how much families in our community needed someone they could truly trust with their animals.

With my own furry family, I know how hard it can be to leave them behind. Every pet I care for is treated with the same patience, attention, and love that I give my own. I’ve spent years surrounded by animals of all kinds, working at horse barns and camps, volunteering at shelters, and helping neighbors with their pigs, chickens, goats, and more. There’s nothing quite like the joy, personality, and quirks that each animal brings, and I love getting to know them all.

Victoria joined me in Spring 2025, bringing her own experience with farm and shelter animals and a thoughtful approach that pets respond to right away. Together, we make sure every pet is comfortable, cared for, and engaged in ways that suit them, whether that means play, quiet company, or whatever makes their day feel right. We also take care of little extras, like bringing in mail, watering plants, and sending photo updates so you can see your pets while you’re away. We love being able to care for pets in the comfort and familiarity of their home. It makes all the difference for them.

We’re fully insured and Pet First Aid & CPR certified, so you can feel confident your pets are in capable, prepared hands. I approach every visit with care and consideration, making sure each animal feels at ease and well looked after.
